It’s
time for a food drive, and it’s a competition!
Please bring non-perishable foods, paper products, soaps or cleaners, and
pet food to your 4th period class this week (through the 20th).
The class that brings in the most will leave early for lunch the week
after Thanksgiving! Help your
neighbors, and you get more time to eat yourself!
It’s
time to order your 2010 Yearbooks. Order
forms are in the office on the counter. If you would like icons or your name
printed on your book, there’s an extra fee. Books are $50.00 a yearbook holds
a lifetime of memories – Order your yearbook today. The Yearbook staff is
looking for Homecoming photos; see Mrs. Merriman in the Library.
There
will be a high school “Winter Classic” dance on Saturday, November 21st from
9 -12 on the stage in the gym. Tickets
will be sold only at the door for $8 a single or $12 a couple.
Put on your dancing shoes, grab all your friends, and boogie the night
away.

Are
you still in need of community service hours?
The Walk & Knock food drive will meet Dec. 5th at 9:00 am
at the Catholic Church on 7th Street in Morton.
Helpers of all ages are needed to collect donations door to door.
Drivers are needed to go to outlying areas. For more information, see
Mrs. Doran or call Sharlotte Hendrickson at 496-5453.

The
2009 volleyball banquet for the junior high and high school players will be a
potluck dinner followed by the awards presentations. This banquet will be held this Thursday, November 19th
at 6 PM on the stage. Friends and
family are invited to attend. If
you did not receive an information sheet on what to bring, see Mr. Hanson.
The
H1N1 Shots will be available for those students who missed it on Tuesday am;
will be on Friday Nov 20th from 1-5 PM at the Morton Hospital. Please
have your paperwork filled out & with you upon arrival.

Congratulations
to the following volleyball players for their selections to the Columbia Valley
All-Conference Volleyball Teams. 1st
Team – Louisa Hanson, 2nd Team – Annie Schinnell, Honorable
Mention – Kendra Cooper and Chelbi Eveland.
Also, we would like to congratulate the following volleyball players for
their selection to the All-Conference Academic Team: The selection is based upon
being a varsity player, a sophomore, junior, or senior with an accumulative GPA
of 3.5 or higher: Stefana Bertucci, Kendra Cooper, Annie Schinnell, Kayla Weber
& Alyssa Tran.
This
Saturday night at the Centralia College, Louisa Hanson has been chosen to play
in the Senior All Star Volleyball match. Game time is 6:30 PM
Weight
training will not start until after Thanksgiving break.
