LIMITED TRANSPORTATION ROUTES

In the event of school closures, delays, and/or emergency transportation routes these changes will be announced through the following sources:

With the snow and inclement weather season upon us the Morton School District will provide student transportation with safety, as it’s first concern. Therefore the district is implementing new limited transportation routes.  If conditions necessitate the following school bus route changes will be announced and put into effect. Any questions regarding the implementation of these routes may be directed to the Transportation Supervisor George Harbaugh at 496-5576.

Highland Valley  - There will be no service to the end of Mienars Rd., the turn around will be at the intersection of Mienars Rd. and Mienars Rd West. If compact snow or ice exists on Mienars Rd between Hwy 508 and Mienars Rd West, then the stop will be moved to the intersection of Hwy 508 and Mienars Rd.

-There will be no service to the end of Short Rd., the stop will be at the intersection of Hwy 12 and short Rd.

-There will be limited service to Highland Valley Rd. depending on amounts of compact snow and ice

Davis Lake -  There will be no service to the end of Skaggs Rd., the stop will be at the intersection of Davis Lk. Rd and Skaggs Rd.

Bear Canyon - There will be no service to Dodge Rd. in the event of heavy unplowed snow or compact ice., the stop will be at either end of Dodge Rd.

Mineral North - There will be no service to the upper end of Mineral Hill Rd. in the event of unplowed snow or compact ice. Buses may be caught at the old Mineral Grade School (on the Mineral South bus) or at he intersection of Mineral Hill Rd. and Glacier Drive. 

Mineral South - There will be no service to the Sherman St. and Lincoln Ave. area these children may have to catch the bus at the old Mineral Grade School.
