Request for Proposal #2005-06-02

Local Tariff Services

 

This Request for Proposal is for Local Tariff services for the Morton School District.  The Morton School District desires equal or better services. 

 

Proposals will be reviewed by the Director of Technology, and the Superintendent of Schools.  While cost will be weighted heavily, it will not be the sole deciding factor in the selection process.

Primary factors will include:

1. Understanding of the project

2. Soundness of approach

3. Available facilities

4. Contractor qualifications

5  Value-added services

6. Management capability

7. Environmental variables

8. Project timeline and finish schedule

9. Guaranteed response time for repairs

10. Costs

 

The major source of funding for this proposal is the district funding through its general fund.  The Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued under the requirements of the federal E-Rate Program and that the successful bidder will be expected to abide by the requirements of the E-Rate Program, including extending the discounts as appropriate.  The signed contract may be dependent upon the district receiving support from the Universal Service Fund.  Nothing in this proposal shall obligate the Morton School District to compensate any vendor for their efforts.  If a vendor does not meet the specifications or does not complete this packet in its entirety, it will be grounds for immediate disqualification without recourse.  The intent of this RFP is contract with one vendor to provide the materials specified in this REP.

 

Method and Date of Submittal and Submittal Requirements

This proposal must be returned completed in its entirety to the Morton School District for the vendor to be considered as a viable responsible vendor.  The School District will make its first selection exclusively based upon the responses contained in this packet. Bidders must provide the following as an attachment to the bid sheet: Call for # of lines and type

 

* A narrative description of their proposed rate plan for providing the service.
